This project is for the 180,000 tpy Specialty Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) manufacturing facility for the FORMOSA Plastic Corporation, USA located in Point Comfort, Texas. International Design Services, Inc. scope of work consists of the shop drawings and erection plans of structural steel framing that includes columns, beams, vertical & horizontal braces and miscellaneous items such as ladders, handrails & guardrails with an approximate total weight of 90 Tons. IDS have carefully followed and properly coordinated the connection details shown in design drawings to complete the structural and miscellaneous items for various structures/platforms/pipe supports in Areas-A, C, D1 & L, pipe supports above silos in Area-P, Shelter for Pump Pit #2 in Area-R and Pipe Rack in Area-D1. The fabrication drawings were created and produced with TEKLA software. |
