This project is a 2 story new construction instructional facility with an approximate area of 97,720 sq.ft. THAAD is a Automated-Aided Instructional facility building with classrooms, office and instructors areas, maintenance training bays, systems maintenance area, communication room, and safe room. This building is made up of columns, infill beams, bracing, perimeter framing for pour stops, floor & roof openings, shop assembled window framing, interior wall partition support, elevator support steel, lintels, bollards, stairs and rails. IDS’ Scope of work includes 3D modeling in version Tekla 18SR2 for BIM requirements by certified Tekla detailers, production of structural steel shop drawings, erection drawings, and connection design for the bracing connections, shear with axial loads, and stair design from a licensed professional engineer in the state of Oklahoma. Approximate tonnage calculated at 800 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel with a schedule of 8 weeks to approval. |
