This job is a chip fabrication plant comprised of 4 mahor building elements which are wafer fabrication building, support building, administrative building and a central utility building which includes service yards and small support buildings. Building is composed of long-span steel trusses with a mid-support over 312'-0" span at the fabrication area. Secondary Trusses and horizontal truss bracing system were added for additional bracing and stability on the long-span trusses. Lateral load resistance is provided by shear walls on lower levels and steel diagonal brace frames on upper levels. |
