This project is 820 square feet and 16’- 0” tall (at its highest point) structure that serves as a furnace. The upper portion of the structure is semicircular along its cross-section supported by six equally spaced TS8x8x1/4” ribs from the base up to the top of the roof and down again to the base at each opposite side. This structure was designed and detailed so that it can be transported & erected in two huge pieces along the longitudinal section. The outer surface is fully covered by a 3/16” thick plate seam welded & completely waterproofed. All of the structural steel was detailed by IDS in AutoCAD software. |
