IDS’s scope for the Exxon Mobil Chemical Project was the structural steel and miscellaneous framing. This project consisted of 2000 tons of steel ranging from small and large W-Shape Members. IDS’s scope includes the structural steel detailing and steel shop drawings. IDS’s experienced steel detailers coordinated the detailing along with the other trades on the project, to make sure all elements of the structure fit up in the field. This project was detailed in Tekla by IDS’s experienced Tekla detailers. Using Tekla allowed for various weight reports and data to be pulled from the model for the shop and the field. This project was finished on time and erection was smooth. |
