For the Elon University Global Neighborhood Dining Hall, IDS's scope includes detailing the structural steel and performing connection design.  
IDS scope of work for this job is to provide connection design calculation that is signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer in the State of New York. The main lateral force resisting systems are brace frames that run from the ground floor through the 5th floor. There are moment connections that are basically part of cantilever system supporting canopies. All calculations are produced using AISC. 
Sloping, curving horizontally and requiring 3 cranes and 3 Skyjacks in simultaneous coordination, erection of the Skybridge @ Community North Hospital in Indianapolis was the rapid yet successful culmination of many hours of Fabricator-Detailer discussions. 
This unique project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers involves detailing a large structural steel flood gate that can open and close attached to large monolithic concrete pours. 
The project is a 6-level arena with an approximate area of 200,000 sq. ft. The arena will be used on for various events that it can be converted into several seating configurations such as for Hockey, Basketball, End Stage Concert and Center Stage Concert Event. 
The Fort Leonard Wood Barracks project is a large, new construction, 3 story facility with 5 buildings being constructed in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. These buildings are made up of moment beams, columns, pour stops for perimeter and floor openings, hip beam framing, roof openings, lintels, and roof filler plates. 
This project is a light industrial platform structure with horizontal and vertical bracing. Vertical bracing consists mostly of HSS braces with knife plate bolted connections. Horizontal bracing is primarily WT along with single angle braces. IDS is working with AFCO\'s steel connection design engineer for detailing the steel. 
This 4,000 Ton project is a twenty-five story building located in lower Manhattan, NY. It is a residential building, built up from the center courtyard of an existing ten story structure. The existing building was capped off at the tenth floor, in 2008. 
This project, located in Garden City, Kansas is a new High School and Concession Building. IDS scope includes the structural steel detailing and other miscellaneous items. 
This structure fronts the World Trade Center Museum Pavilion at New York City and is composed of architecturally exposed hollow structural steel. |
