Community North Hospital in Indianapolis was the rapid yet successful culmination of many hours of Fabricator-Detailer discussions.
This unique project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers involves detailing a large structural steel flood gate that can open
and close attached to large monolithic concrete pours.
This project is a light industrial platform structure with horizontal and vertical bracing.
Vertical bracing consists mostly of HSS braces with knife plate bolted connections. Horizontal bracing is primarily WT
along with single angle braces. IDS is working with AFCO\'s steel connection design engineer for detailing the steel.
The project is a 6-level arena with an approximate area of 200,000 sq. ft. The arena will be used
on for various events that it can be converted into several seating configurations such as for Hockey, Basketball,
End Stage Concert and Center Stage Concert Event.
This project, located in Garden City, Kansas is a new High School and Concession Building.
